Our over-the-sink strainer is constructed with first-class Stainless Steel 18/8, which is BPA-free, lead-free, and cadmium-free, ensuring that it will never affect the taste of your food and is rust-resistant.

The colander features sturdy, expandable rubber grip handles that extend from 14 1/2" to 22 1/2", allowing it to be used over or in most sinks. It has a mirror-finished, wide-rimmed frame with resting feet on the bottom, providing a stable platform.

With a large 13 1/2" by 9 1/2" basket, this colander is the ideal size for handling a wide range of straining, draining, rinsing, sieving, sifting, and filtering tasks. The baskets' concave mesh net easily catches, sifts, strains, or drains small ingredients.

Constructed with steel that is 40% thicker than other colanders, our heavy-duty strainer will never deform or bend. The resting legs allow it to be set on a countertop and used as a basket to hold or display fruits and vegetables.
